I SO wanted one of these when I was younger, but my parents said I would have no use for them and urged me to get a more "normal" phone instead — they were right, too.

Blackberries looked like the future, with their sleek designs, built-in keyboards and custom versions of popular mobile games (which made me drool), but there really wasn't much for you in there if you didn't have a job that required you to check on (and reply to) emails on-the-go.

Plus... years later, I managed to borrow my friend's and found out that navigation was a bit of a nightmare on that OS.

Still cool-looking, though. And I'm sure they served their (intended) crowd beautifully — I just wasn't part of it.

The Blackberry. I used to have one... two. (after the first one got weird and malfunctioned) My my those phones were popular at the time. They were pretty cool but frustrating. You're right though, they did look futuristic and sleek. I tried to keep it going past it's time, but eventually I needed to catch up with everyone else.

Someone should make a phone case that works just like the PSP GO, but with a keypad.

My dad used to have one

I think I've seen one of those, don't remember where

My sister had one of those, I had a Nokia 6630, imo I made the better investment because at the time my phone could play Mega Drive (via emulation), N-Gage (conversion), and Java, hers couldn't, it had its own games though.

I'm interested on the N-Gage part.

It's been a long time, unfortunately I don't think I still have the N-Gage to Nokia conversions anymore, but man those were the days, I had Sonic N, Super Monkey Ball, Rayman 3 and Puyo Puyo, all N-Gage conversions to Nokia, I also had a Mega Drive emulator quite capable too, during the early 2000s I would play games while in school.

As the philosopher Zeca Pagodinho would say:
— I’ve never seen it or tasted it, I only hear about it.

You are the ancestral version of me dude.
Have a nice day, you earned it.

Yeah, my friend's had so many quirks, it tried out for My Hero Academia xD

No, I never had a Blackberry, only a Nokia. The Nokia doesn't taste as good as a blackberry though... too crunchy.

I actually have one....
It needs a battery, mind you, and I honestly have no idea if it even works, won't power on with a dead battery. I got it for a buck (May have been 50 cents i forget now) at a yard sale a few weeks back. I'll eventually get around to trying it.

It's the same model as the one in the image @Samantha posted. It's a little scuffed, but the screen seems to be pretty scratch free, and it still has the previous owner’s 2GB SD card in it....

I'm almost afraid to look at it, to be honest.

But when they were new, I sure couldn't afford one. I, like as Samantha pointed out, wanted one but wasn't part of that crowd. Though, to be honest, I probably wouldn't have liked it.... it would have seemed kind of preppy to me at the time. I had an old flip phone at this point in time because I was a poor kid.

It was one of those you bought minutes for to use and only used it when you had to flip phones. And the only reason I even had that was because my bro got it for me in case of emergency.

Nope, too young to be around when they were being made, but you can play Puyo Puyo on some models...
Very intriguing, I know!

my dad hand one for work. I played some games on it, and I still have my old flip phone believe it or not

All I know is that former President Obama was quite fond of his.
