As an european kid, discovering emulation, and how much gems we missed was something else.

It's like a whole territory of games ( and consoles ! ) we've never heard of.

Yeah its truly a crime how many of those gems simply never where ported to Europe for whatever reasons.

For Example the very stupid decisions on giving us Xenosaga 2 but not Xenosaga 1 on the ps2 for some reason.
Or the outrageous crime of never porting Earthbound to Europe truly vile.
As if it was not enough that we suffered lower frame rates.

Emulation truly was a game changer for us as simply Importing the games did not help as the US Games we never got would not even play on our European Consoles unless they where modded which quite frankly most of us did not...I never did.

Luckily nowadays we can use Emulators to play our hmm Legally owned discs and roms of course via Emulators no need to buy a American Console or mod our console for that anymore.

For Example I would buy of a reasonable price Tales of the Abyss which apparently never gotten to Europe but simply importing it would be useless as it would not run on my European Ps2

Region looks are a plague upon Humanity who ever invented it is the Enemy of all gamerkind.
Anyhow I hate it when I want to legally own and buy a Ps2 Game we never got and having it to expensively Import it just for my Ps2 to not being able to play it anyway.
We got the Game but just for fun look up the evil outright demonic prices on ebay for Steambot Chronicles Ps2.

Understandable as many games where never released over here.
Still that gotta be expensive it they collected Pal and US/Japanese Releases

There also is anorher consideration to do about differencies. If you think about it, game names aren't just a matter of countries, but also of entire parts of the world.
While only the subtitle might change from one country to another (like Ace Combat, as Guinea said), certain games have completely different names from one side of the world to the other!
The most notable example that immediately comes to mind is RE: while for the rest of the world it's Resident Evil, let's not forget that in the East it's always been BIOHAZARD...

well the German Studios also Created the Legendary franchises of the Settlers/Far Cry/Anno showing that we Europeans are major players in gaming Development showing the world of capable we can be in that field

Maybe we will overtake the Americans at least for a while in terms of game development that would be nice and hey we can dream.

I am not sure Turkey is a rather strange case in that regard some consider it as part of Europe while others don't meanwhile I see it as more complicated as part of Turkey lays in Europe while the other part does not like Russia so assigning them a specific region is a bit hard.
My final Decision would be it depends from where in Turkey if it is located in the West of Turkey than probably yes if is not than probably not.
Okay I did my Research its located in Istanbul so West Turkey ergo its likely European this is my answer keeping it as factual as possible.
