Not a “which one is better” cuz I think most people I saw either dislike both or think HT is better.

I know wanna, what’s the difference? Are they collectathons? Or normal level based 3d platformers? Same genre and gameplay? Different gameplay? Why does not a single soul ever discuss these games? Surely they can’t be that bad.

Discuss.

Well one thing i at least remember (and also from just double checking) "Spyro A Hero's Tail" is more of a "Spyro and the others work together, you play as not just spyro in this" compared to Enter the Dragonfly in which you primarily continue playing as just spyro (which usually was the main focus since i mean spyro was continuisly growing and maturing over the games while saving others and helping where help was necessary)

tho... Enter the Dragonfly tends to be one of the more glitchier/buggier games with speedrunners abusing even them more than the PS1 releases tho i havent looked at a Hero's Tail speedrun

I see. That helps a lot. ?
Hmmm playing as multiple characters sounds more fun imo but that’s just me obviously.

Oh yeah definetly but things really went into a like spiral with people saying "yeah its good" and "NAH GET THAT OUT" almost as if having spyro and the others not work together be conflicting in the story (im kinda thinking to when the others first came out as they were just NPCs youd talk to when you have to progress and then vanish until the next world)

tad bit how the other timeline of spyro went with the legend of spyro (spyro and cinder having been both gameplay factors from the second Legend of game onwards) its just weird how the fanbase fought

Yeah I feel Spyro is just a cartoon world with cute colorful characters so the idea of playing so many appeals to me a lot more by comparison. Already installed the game. Can’t wait to play it!

Well good luck, i hope that even in Hero's Tail you dont roll into any potental glitches or even softlocks

Visually, Hero's Tail is good. It looks like a Disney movie game, the art style is gorgeous

Enter The Dragonfly though while not as pretty, still is an impressive jump from PS1. It's unfortunate for everyone who made it that suffered from deadlines and…other stuff

I still enjoy Spyro games though, even the bad ones

I've only played Enter The Dragonfly and it was a buggy mess. The game would have been fun if it had more time to cook. There's a level that doesn't even load properly.

ok this is really helpful I’ll try to install ETD too thanks ?

Be careful though because like Adrastia said, it can be quite buggy and messy
Hmmmm I suppose I’ll use save states for emergencies then.

Enter the Dragonfly is like a bland version of the ps1 Sypro games. Hero's Tail is just a Jak & Daxter game with a Spyro skin and stupid spiders with stupid jumpscares...
