I usually love to play old games loosely based on anime, Dragon Ball's Tenkaichi series, the Budokai collection, you name it. About a year back, I discovered that Fullmetal Alchemist had it's own line of games on consoles like the Nintendo DS, PSP and the PS2, I've played both Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel along with it's sequel Fullmetal Alchemis: Curse of the Crimson Elixir.

After playing those 2 wonderful games, I wanted to play the final game in the PS2 trilogy, Fullmetal Alchemist 3: Kami o Tsugu Shoujo. If I remember correctly, the third Fullmetal Alchemist PS2 game was never shipped and translated for western audiences due to a low number of sales in Japan, leading to the game never getting any sort of translations for english audiences. I searched everywhere online for an english patched version of the game, but I found nothing and considering the fact my japanese is about as good as a toddlers first words, I know damn well I wouldn't be able to play the game if I don't know what its saying in japanese.

So now I'd like to ask and see if anyone knows anywhere I can get an english patched version of Fullmetal Alchemist 3: Kami o Tsugu Shoujo and run it on PCSX2 or anyone who can try and translate it for the convenience of me and others. I'd be very thankful if someone could do either of the 2.

Other Projects:
Those of you who are in our Discord Server or keep a close eye on our project list may have noticed we’ve added two new projects; Death Note: Successors to L for NDS and Fullmetal Alchemist 3: The Girl Who Succeeds God for PS2!

Both are still in the early stages having only started recently, but we look forward to bringing you more information about them next time!

Iredc from the AGT discord talking here! I'm proud to introduce a new project: "Fullmetal Alchemist 3: The Girl Who Succeeds God".

Released in 2005, it's the third FMA game for the Playstation 2, and like the previous entries, a blend of action and RPG. However, unlike the other titles, it was never released in English, something that we're working to fix now.

It's a pretty fun game, with some innovations like the possibility to control both Ed and Al to take advantage of their different abilities, a Tag Team battle mode, lots of unlockable secrets, and even a stealth gameplay level.

Illidan is working on the hacking part; extraction and repacking of files is done, while some work with the fonts is still needed. Phantom is editing the graphics. And I'm translating the text (around a third of it is done).

If you're a fan of Fullmetal Alchemist, be sure to check on our progress!

Update on "Fullmetal Alchemist 3: Kami o tsugu shoujo" by Iredc - There's been quite a lot of progress in the font department, where Illidian solved many bugs like wordwrapping. A variable width font has been implemented as well.

Around half the graphics are already edited by Phantom (CG Gallery still on the works). As for the text translation, the main story, menus and quests were translated by myself (Iredc). The scenes with Winry and Sophie at the church are still pending translation.

Apart from this, we're working on some issues when generating the patch file (this game has a weird ISO format), and need to find a way to insert subtitles during the cutscenes.

This project looks very promising so far, so don't forget to check on our updates from time to time!

Quick update on "Fullmetal Alchemist 3: Kami o tsugu shoujo" by Iredc. Things keep moving forward after fixing some issues. For starters, we now have a translated title screen, and Phantom is checking the in-game new graphics, to make sure everything looks fine. Also, they fixed a problem with a few translated lines that were not showing.

The text translation is almost done by now, with the exception of some optional conversations, as well as a tutorial, which Illidan needs to dump first. Still working as well on a way to hard-sub the anime videos.

We hope this progress update, even short as it is, will be a nice post-Halloween surprise. Don't forget to check from time to time, for more news about FMA 3!

With the exception of the cutscenes, FMA 3 is now fully translated thanks to Iredc's hard work! We're still investigating how to add subtitles to those, but in the meantime our hacker, Illidan, has been making various fixes and improvements, including being able to create a patch which isn't the size of the original game(!)

The first round of proofreading for FMA 3 has officially begun! As well as fixing typos and checking for bugs, there is also a fair amount of lines which need manual word wrapping or trimming down, as shown here.
