i recently got an iphone 13 after struggling with android for 5 years, ps1 and psp seems to be working (and also essencial stuff ofc) but i wonder if gamecube or wii or ps2 is possible many people say it’s crap but i still wonder if it’s possible

Nope. AFAIK it's a fork maintained by someone outside the Dolphin team.

Play isn't great but unless you port Pcsx2 to iOS yourself it's your only option.

I believe you, then I took my frustration out of it & smashed it with a hammer, that's when I made the switch to Android & never looking back.

Oh man, if you want emulation, Apple phones are the last things you'd want to use. There's a reason why nearly all the handheld emulation devices are Android based.

well there is a unofficial Dolphin port, which unfortunately without a JiT compiler,it performs pretty poorly.
few month ago there was a JiT compiler on App Store which improved dolphin performance a lot, but Apple just removed the app since they don't approve JiT.

as a retro gamer Android is the best option, plenty of great options out there

As others mentioned, the current state of emulation of Wii and PS2 isn't the best on iOS. But I am a little bit optimistic here; finally, they have enabled emulators, and iPhones are hardware-wise quite capable.

I do have to point out that there's more than one flavour of Android, and vastly different specs in Android devices.

You generally get what you pay for unfortunately, although comparing specs landed me with a Samsung A55 at a reasonable price that I've been enjoying for a bit of emulation on the go.

I'm kind of perplexed why anyone would choose an Apple over Samsung other than the Brand name/loyalty/supporting an "American" company, etc. You have complete freedom over Android, but you'll have to jump through some hoops for Apple.
