I have long been interested in preserving the history of video games and have accumulated a large number of rare romsets. Some games are very rare and were restored from reprints from the pages of Japanese gaming magazines. Or from Japanese private collectors. I decided to write a program for myself that allows me to somehow structure my collection in a convenient, informative form for a romset collector.
My project is called EmuGames List.
I am creating this forum thread in the hope that some people will be interested in following the development of my hobby. And perhaps someone will want to share rare copies of games with me for this collection in the future.
I specifically made the program store game files in a neutral PNG image format. There are several reasons for this that I have encountered over the years:
1. This allows you to avoid false antivirus reactions to some data formats in game files for little-known old PCs, etc.
2. A visual representation of the density and variety of data arrangement in the main game file or image.

Link to the YT of the project where I try to show a short gameplay of each game in the collection: https://www.youtube.com/@EmuGamesList
The project is only at the very beginning of development. This is a personal project for a small circle of interested collectors.
