Ever own any classic Educational/Edutainment Computer games when owning a computer back then? Did you had any fond memories with them?

Perhaps not exactly what you're asking for but these 2 and a few other encyclopedias with interactive elements stimulated my young brain to no end.

I didn't own these, but we had "Mario Teaches Typing" sessions during 3rd grade computer class in the mid 90's. As well as "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?", " Oregon Trail", and the like.

OT and Carmen as mentioned earlier, but also Cross Country USA (also Cross Country Canada, and there's a Cross Country California) were ones we had back in the late 80s. Plus all the MECC stuff like Number Munchers. I just got an ad today for "wishlist Carmen Sandiego on Steam" but forgot to follow through on it, so this thread is a good reminder for me to do that. Thanks. :)

[edit: the Carmen on Steam looks like a 3D platformer where you play as Carmen going against VILE, not sure if that's what I'm after in a Carmen game but I'll give it a chance when it comes out]
:)

You know what game I thought deserves a lot of praise? Wolf by Sanctuary Woods.

This is honestly incredibly involved gameplay wrapped around a small encyclopedia. I was blown away when I first played it and continued to do so until my wolf died, at which point I was just too sad to continue. I'm not kidding.

For me, maniac mansion, day of the tentacle and leisure suit Larry where some of my first games i owned and then emulated to relive.

i gotta dust off dosbox and give it a go, i was skeptical of it as a child because i thought it was going to be similar to those generic "hunting simulator" games. It looks great

Cosmology of Kyoto, is a game blends History, myths and legends of the Heian era.
I do enyoy the ambiance, mostly dread and the weird character design, half between art of the era and japanimation exaggerations.

Played a lot of Oregon Trail in school, my teacher was older and he would set up contests to see how far everyone could get, whoever won got extra credit and like a piece of granny candy lol. But I also have the most pristine holy copy of Sonic Schoolhouse that I found like 2 years ago at Goodwill lol. I also remember playing a lot of Mario Teaches Typing on an old library computer.
