Ever own any classic Educational/Edutainment Computer games when owning a computer back then? Did you had any fond memories with them?
Great funPerhaps not exactly what you're asking for but these 2 and a few other encyclopedias with interactive elements stimulated my young brain to no end.

i gotta dust off dosbox and give it a go, i was skeptical of it as a child because i thought it was going to be similar to those generic "hunting simulator" games. It looks greatYou know what game I thought deserves a lot of praise? Wolf by Sanctuary Woods.
This is honestly incredibly involved gameplay wrapped around a small encyclopedia. I was blown away when I first played it and continued to do so until my wolf died, at which point I was just too sad to continue. I'm not kidding.
