Eboot.PBP

Literally googled it.

Locate the EBOOT.PBP file: Ensure you have the EBOOT.PBP file for the game you want to play.

Place the file correctly:
If using PPSSPP on a PC, place the EBOOT.PBP file in the appropriate game folder within the PPSSPP "memstick" directory (e.g., memstick/PSP/GAME/[GameName]/).
On Android or other devices, the specific folder may vary, but it's generally within the PPSSPP installation or a designated storage location.

Start PPSSPP: Launch the PPSSPP emulator.

Browse for the game: Navigate through the emulator's file system to find the folder containing the EBOOT.PBP file.

Select and play: Select the game (which should be represented by its icon), and PPSSPP should load and start playing.

eboot.pbp files are meant only for real PSPs. PPSSPP doesnt emulate the parts of the PSP which lets it play PS1 games and with that eboot.pbps just wont work ever on PPSSPP.

Instead i suggest you to get and use regular PS1 roms instead and play them with with an PS1 emulator.

I personally would recommend Duckstation: https://www.duckstation.org/

Ok, so I know this is a little 'necroy', but since this is one of the posts that *does* come up when you google 'eboot on ppsspp', I thought I'd mention what I did. Perhaps what Morgana said worked at one point, but I wasn't able to get that to work, PPSSPP officially doesn't work with eboot, and on Android 11 you're barred from accessing the file path unless you path your memsticks to the root folders anyway.

So, yes, what Tanner said is true. That's rough for some hacks or translations that ONLY exist in EBOOT format and not as traditional PSX games. However, I was able to take an EBOOT file, and with IceTea 1.0 (should appear in a google search) converted it to an ISO which was able to run in Duckstation.

I hope that helps someone in the future!

.pbp is supported on DuckStation
If psx title was converted to psp via PSX2PSP. Only unofficial eboots work from psx2psp, Official psn pbp ones don't due to encryption.
Him, I tried to run it on DuckStation first, bit no dice. It was a fan translation of a PS1 title, so I don't think it was official. Either way, got it working by just running a conversion program in my case.

Hi everyone,
I am new here. I have some original PS1 games, but my PC is very slow and it’s hard for me to convert them into PSP format.

Do you know if there is a site or archive where I can find PS1 games already converted to EBOOT.PBP for PSP?
Or maybe an easier way to do it with only a phone (Android)?

Thanks a lot for any help!

If you want to play on Android, why not play PS1 games with a PS1 emulator?
Simplest way? Get retroarch, a ps1 bios and Bob's your uncle?

I don't know why this thread was started to begin with. You can easily find what you are looking for using Google.

I don't know why I'm being quoted, I didn't make the request.
My point is that the request sounds like: how do I play SNES games on redream?
And, I mean, you can! But why I question why OP does not want to get the emulator for the system they want to play to begin with?
