I was really hoping for a sweet mod that removes all the "slow" stuff, faster transitions, faster battle text, I don't know.

Instead it's just a gimmick of what X-COM calls "Ironman mode" (no saves, death = game over) combined with a timer.

I don't see how a person who appreciates the game would ever do a mod like this. It's like having a Book Appreciation Mod where you get 10 minutes to read as many pages as possible and then someone rips the book out of your hands and knocks it on the ground. I use books as an analogy very deliberately: so many things we tolerate in videogame land would never be tolerated among readers of books.

Also they're just plain lying about the "social" thing? Because a marketing person somewhere said "stick the word social on anything to sell it, nowadays!"?

pretty sure unless im cheating i wont even get the female party member within 2 hours. havent played it vanilla in forever but i remember having to grind off the bat to beat the shark gang boss.

This Mother 2/Earthbound Romhack will only be designed for agile and fast players with the purpose of being able to pass the game without exceeding 120 Minutes/2 Hours and if you lose the game you can't continue and start the game from scratch and also that you will not be able to save the game even if the phones are there.

hack seems kind of pointless as these are all things you could impose upon yourself without a romhack but someone made it so here we are
