I don't know why but the EDF series always reminds me of Space Invaders/Space Raiders on the PS2
It's the same idea if you think about with battling a horde of monsters, just in this case it's usually some form of giant bug (or frogs).I don't know why but the EDF series always reminds me of Space Invaders/Space Raiders on the PS2
Pretty much, and both are more or less goofy as all get outIt's the same idea if you think about with battling a horde of monsters, just in this case it's usually some form of giant bug (or frogs).
Haven't played the second one, but I didn't mind the first one. It's not the same as one of the mainline games obviously, but it was cute to play through once or twice. I like how it isn't just 'EDF but with voxels' and they actually changed stuff and added things in, like the whole 4 man squad thing and the powers. What's everybody's opinion of World Brothers and World Brothers 2?
Looks like the result of a very drunk onenight stand between Lego Minecraft and EFD.What's everybody's opinion of World Brothers and World Brothers 2?
I really enjoyed WB, and I played about a third of WB2 on PC, but would rather get it on the Switch to play on the go. It's shorter missions with easier mechanics and funny characters and story. It's obviously not the same as the mainline games but comes close enough to still give off that nice EDF vibe. WB2 is a definite upgrade compared to the first one for sure! What's everybody's opinion of World Brothers and World Brothers 2?
Only played maybe half of the first one and it was totally fine, but missing the wow factor of the main series. 2 is allegedly much improved, will try it eventually. What's everybody's opinion of World Brothers and World Brothers 2?
100% accurate I'm just a madman for wonky gaming jank and being able to fly around.I should be all over the Wing Diver, cause cute flying waifu, but I just cannot get the hang of the wonky charge weapons and energy management mid-flight. I was better at it in EDF4.1. Also doesn't help that as a class, it has like 80% useless unplayable jank weapons and the remaining 20% is different grades of completely busted OP. Still, fun class, but if I need rapid movement you'll find me playing Fencer.
I mean I also love jank, just in a different way: 70% of getting good at Fencer is learning how to weaponize all of his animation cancels and what action breaks what stance to move fast as fuck and deploy giant artillery cannons! Pure jank exploitation and it's so much fun.Only played maybe half of the first one and it was totally fine, but missing the wow factor of the main series. 2 is allegedly much improved, will try it eventually.
