Earliest memory you have related to games, doesn't have to involve you actually playing them

Mine was trying to take the N64 controller from my older brother while he got to the part where you first meet Zelda as a child in OOT.

After annoying him I crawled towards a table (yes, I was THAT young), my mom pulled out a chair that almost hit me and I started crying because she startled me, probably a fake memory or a dream I'm mistaking for a memory, who knows.

I can only think of Wild Gunmen. It was a zapper game.

The earliest I can remember is trying to play Operation Wolf on the NES and not being able because I was too young to even understand it was a light gun game. I was trying to control some of the sprites on screen. I knew Duck Hunt though, not sure why I didn't make the connection.

I was sitting on my mum's lap watching her play the first level of Tomb Raider 2! It's not just my earliest gaming memory just flat out my earliest memory of life haha!

Playing Sky Destroyer on my dad's Famicom, the bomber aircraft always got to me at first

playing the Valis game on Nes despite not knowing Japanese[our country has alot of pirated cartridge sold and games from other platform]and lot of game from 100 in 1 ype of pirated disc

Super Mario World I think. I was basically born with a N64, but if I recall correctly my dad traded his SNES for the N64, so for me to remember that means it was very early.

My earliest memory was being about 4 or 5 sitting in my dads lap and playing Sonic the Hedgehog back in '95.

I can't place dates because I'm not sure which was first, but it's one of these:
- playing Pac-Man on 2600 on a rainy day when it was new
- seeing Freeway on 2600 when it was new and thinking how cool the box was
- playing Alpine Ski on an arcade unit at a 7-11, I would guess 1981 but I have no idea

What I remember most is my older brother having to share his game boy stuff with me. He kept all his original game boy games and console in a bag that promoted the live action Hercules. He had such gaming 'Gems' as the Rocky and Bullwinkle game, Bill and Ted's excellent adventure, Toy story, Gremlins, Terminator 2 and a Looney toons game. Real terrible game play time but I didn't know any better. When he finally got Wario land, I was persistently that sibling that used his account and died a lot, losing him his valuable treasures.

Playing Bubble Bobble and Super Mario Bros. on NES with my parents.

playing crash of titans on the ps2 with my brother and just jumping around. thats the game that got me into gaming and i replayed it recently 20 years later and i still think its great.

Lol my brother also had to share his gba with me until I was like 5 and a cousin gave me hers, one time he spent the whole day stuck on a pokemon gym and I won against the leader while he had left the console charging, saved and all after winning, he was NOT happy that he couldn't try to win against the leader himself again lol, I still have my GBA and some of the games we had when little (Metroid Fusion and Yoshi's Island)

Hehe Brothers beware, you're in for a scare! ::crack-bandicoot
That's awesome that you are able to keep hold of these memories and still have the console after all this time.
I eventually started my own collection of game boy and gba games in a transformers tin lunch box and still have them too.

The moment my father brought home a NES for my 4th birthday.

Ironically my GBA is on my brother's room, and now I play GBA games on a O2ds...that was my brother's, because he got bored of it, told me I could play with it and I decided to hack it bc he didn't ask for it back after like a year :p

Oh cool! you hacked the 2ds toast!
How did you end up doing it?
I've got two of those and one of them was uhh... 'altered' through an exploit through pokemon picross's save files.

I just followed the online guide site, the system version I had didn't need anything else except the console, an SD card and a second device that could read said SD card, took me an entire afternoon but that was more bc I kept re-reading the guide out of fear of bricking my already brick-colored and vaguely brick shaped console

The fear is real! That's why I got a second 2ds, I was so scared I was going to ruin the first one. Congrats on getting it right first try!
