This isn't a terrible idea, but we all know it's going to be pushed to the extreme and become awful.

I have so many feelings that can not be accurately described by words alone.

I just wanna say that I hope all of the people who suggested this idea would warm pillows for a long time.

It's EA, we know that sucker. That's all I have to say.

We did it with Ubisoft, we really need to humble EA by protesting with our wallets, let's make that app crash and burn as they crashed and burnt many studios

EA has FIFA, it is never going to be that easy. You’d be better off trying to convince parents not to buy the newest Pokemon games in protest.

They've already been doing this in their sports game, have they not? I vaguely remember a controversy some time ago that they were putting ads into NBA2K?

Sadly, they will try to force this. If company thinks something will increase revenue it's a matter of boiling the frog until people just accept it as a matter of life. With microtransactions and Sony's/Nintendo's paid online, people kicked up a fuss, yet nothing happened in the long run.

With things like these it's better to accept the average person doesn't care, and to make your own decisions. It's your money after all, it doesn't have to go to things you hate.

I'd like to say they crossing the line, but EA cross that line long time ago
Can't wait for 'EA partners' youtubers and streamers to defend this though, saying its not big deal and you just a hater.

I think if they really want to rake in more revenue they should start claiming copyright to all of their game's musics, and start a subscription-based streaming license.

They've been trying to do this for years now. Didn't something similar happen with the Egyptian Assassin's Creed game a few years back, where a banner ad for other games appeared for several players?

Unfortunately, that's what all companies are aiming for. They just want to one of them take the steps and make a Nintendo rising the games prices, and then absolutely everyone will fill your screen with banners for Coca-Cola, Monster Energy, and gambling/p0rn sites.
