Duodecimal/Dozenal numbering system?

I've always wondered why we only counted in base-10 for most of our systems when the base-12 would've been more convenient as there are more ways to divide 12 than 10.

Sure, it will require some learning but this would end up beneficial at the end of the day:

We could even count like that on our fingers

what would have to do to show someone a number with your fingers? curl you knuckle on each finger for different numbers? that would mean you'd have to give someone the middle finger to show them the number six.

They're supposed to be new numbers: Dek and El but A and B could also work for that numbering system.
