Oh yeah you see the title.

So basically after playing a bunch of wizardry i have come in conclusion Damn i think i need to play DND atleast once in my lifetime. But the thing is i don't have any friends to play DND with. Most of my friends i usually hang out with are either MOBA players or just too lazy to play actual DND.

Sooo if you guys have any experience on this old TTRPG please share and also if you wanna make an adventure i will gladly join it. heheh

So far I've only played the older parts. I also want to play the remaster sometime and the third part, but somehow I always forget it.

Tower of Doom and Shadow over Mystara for me!

I know Baldur's Gate has already been mentioned but I would also recommend the SSI Gold Box versions, namely the Dragonlance trilogy:

• Champions of Krynn (1990)
• Death Knights of Krynn (1991)
• The Dark Queen of Krynn (1992)

The graphics are rudimentary by today's standard but they still hold up well if you are looking for something like the pen & paper. They are an enjoyable play-through and you can carry your characters over from game to game which is a very nice feature for being from the early 90s.

If you want a digital game i recommend Neverwinter nights, i played it a while ago, and it was fine. It kept me entertained for a while.

Oh fuck yeah I love D&D. One of the best games ever... If you know what you're getting into and when you have the proper people to play it with. I suggest you to maybe go find some people in comic book stores or hell, even in otaku like shops, if you say you don't have many friends irl to play it with. Also the Baldur's Gate games are fucking phenomenal, I suggest you to play them when you can, I'm currently playing the third, it's a blast.

Shadow over Mystara for me!

I'm genuinely glad someone else remembers that game. I remember playing it as a kid but never knew the name until a few years ago. It's kinda cool seeing an early interpretation from Capcom, especially when afaik, it wasn't really that big in Japan until way later.
