i used this picture of aqua but turned it sideways to fit the psp's screen.

Before my PSP exploded I used some generic stuff because I often can't find wallpapers I would like to use, so one day I decided to make my own wallpapers instead which for years I do that helps me digital painting skillz too. For example recently I made this SMT Devil Survivor 1 wallpaper for me phone you may use:

I don't like SMT series but your wallpaper is really cool (not sure if this kind of design is called "vector" but I like it a lot)! Congrats for your skills.

Well in the game characters using a mobile device that has a cool menu design so wanted to capture the same theme as much as possible.

Simply put vector art is a method that visual is done without pixels by using mathematical formulas but this wallpaper is raster art for made with pixels.

But such type of artwork would look better via vector art method but for decades I got too used to using Photoshop that doesn't support vector art but as long as you keep it within the intended resolution it can look like a vector artwork from far away lol. Only recently I started to use Pixelorama as a secondary program for my artwork thanks to its dedicated ease for pixel artworks.

Thanks for the explanation. In fact I didn't really understand what a simple red (though nice) background had to do with the game (no characters, no logo), but now it's clear.

Also thanks for this one: I don't create pictures, I only remembered that, when looking for wallpapers ages ago, the ones with those spirals and squares and those various colors were named "vector". Your wallpaper reminded me of those :)

If it’s not a mid 2000’s anime png, then it’s a futuristic CGI image that screams “techno optimism”.

The long and short of it, no matter the theme you use, is to evoke the feeling of watching a GTA Bigfoot tutorial or Naruto AMV with music from Evanescence in 2007, as that’s the vibe the PSP is dripping in.
