Absolutely no one is harassing you here or in the reddit(at least publicly) some people are just incredulous at the way you’re responding to something that shouldn’t even be up for discussion anymore.- Do people not realize that this type of harassment often makes the recepient step away from the scene? Realize, that would mean no further translations of the remaining untranslated games from our team, no more strategy wikis to make playing the games easier, no more community events including international cooperation between the EN and JP Shiren communities, and so much more.Do you really want to lose all of that?
I'm sorry you were harassed, SS — that's unexcusable.
Hopefully, these are the last shots fired in here... I do love myself some shitposting, but this is gotten a tad too nasty, even for my incredibly low standards.

If you care about the community, don’t do things like making the subreddit private as if it were yours and yours alone or threaten the community to lose all the content over something so small? WTF, man
Calm down , that’s not how a community works
I read what he said, and I’ve been on Reddit these past few days, I didn’t see anyone harassing him in any way (publicly). There were a few people asking for the link, and others defending HIM in the whole situation and that was it; that’s what happened publicly. This is just pure toxicity, and is factually incorrect per the screenshot in your own post and per Shark's reply, that you either did not read, or are deliberately misrepresenting.
- Shark was receiving harassment on the sub Reddit. Him posting that should be enough, as there's no reason to shine further light on that kind of toxicity, but he has posted some of the inflammatory offending Reddit posts in other community spaces to demonstrate. It is plain and simple ad-hominem harassment.
- Shark posted that he temporarily locked the sub Reddit until the issue has passed, or more moderators are recruited. Reddit requires moderation, and deletes subs that are unmoderated. Shark should not be responsible for monitoring and moderating posts harassing him, the sole moderator of the sub for years, while this issue is ongoing.
- Shark did not threaten the community, after being justifiably upset by what happened here, he rhetorically asked if it was worth it for the fan community of the game to lose his ongoing contribution over misappropriating his work without his permission. As someone who's part of that community, the obvious answer is NO. Based on your messages here, it's clear you yourself are not a functional participant in any such community.
This whole thread sucks, especially the victim-blaming from posters who have higher visibility in this forum. Spike was always positive and respectful regarding Shark's translations, and I don't think harassing Shark over misappropriated work is what he would have wanted for this site, at all.
Sure!!The rest of your post is nonsense that deliberately mischaracterizes other people's posts in this thread that anyone reading will see plainly.
