Let's do some wishcasting: what are some IPs/subjects you would like to see receive a pinball adaptation?

For me, it's Twin Peaks. I would've said Pokemon, but that looks like it's actually being made by Stern.

Im not into pinball but i would die to see a Twin Peaks one. That being said, katamari seems a good theme for a pinball.

Maybe more Sloppy, so bad its funny things like: Onee Chanbara, Bubsy 3D, (not gonna say deadly premonition because it is just good) Action 52 or Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. Does one exist for Night Trap? That game really would make for a great pinball table unironically. There are already so many pinball tables, and sometimes they seem to make them for such random things I have to ask for something almost impossible.

Death Grips themed pinball would be insane, that's a thought I don't think I would have ever had naturally.

I went to the pinball museum in Seattle a few months back, and though I'm far from a pinball master, I think the license is incidental so long as the table itself is good. That said, a license I don't like would put me off of trying a table initially, so maybe it's a good and bad thing, potentially.

That’s good — it means you’re not certifiably insane like I am.
Just imagine the machine using the screams, ad-libs, and random samples instead of the usual pinball sounds.
The sad thing is, if it ever did get made, it’d probably just be a generic pinball machine with some bullshit picture like this one for decoration:

Since they already made NOT ONE BUT THREE Rush pinball machines that play 16 Rush songs, I'd say that my dreams are fufilled. How about giving me a Diet Coke instead.

How about a Antifa and/or BLM riot themed table(s)?
All of the various targets that you knock down can be little storefronts & houses to destroy, the loops can be a random Mall or Bigbox store to loot, and the holes that temporarily hold your balls for a multi-ball can be a police station!!

Isn't that the Chris Elliot thing? If so, I have not thought about that dude in years.

The reality in 2026 is that while I love and grew up playing pinball, and I miss the physical bells and whistles so to say, I'm perfectly satisfied getting my fix playing Pinball FX. It does an admirable job
simulating Pinball and ANY theme is within possibility. Heck I downloaded the pack with 52 DLCs.

I would LOVE to see an Ozzy Osbourne Tribute pinball machine. I mean he was the prince
of Darkness after all.

Yeah i love Chris Elliott. Im kinda surprised no one made a Black Sabbath machine im pretty sure Williams did a Metallica machine they were definitely iconic enough to have their own pinball game

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde would make for a really fun board if you could somehow create a ball gimmick that works with the theming. The vibe of some of the 90s Williams tables would have worked flawlessly with the tone of the source material. There are homebrew tables with the theming but nothing too specific. Something I had in mind was that you spend your normal metallic ball as Dr. Jekyll, but when you lose the ball, you enter the Mr. Hyde half of the game and it comes back onto the table as a ceramic ball that's harder to land and do events on which theoretically would create a dynamic where the Jekyll ball is used to "prepare" for the Hyde ball to prevent losing it and the ball as a whole. The dual ball setup could also make it relatively easy to make more events with the same scope of the table, where some outcomes depend on the ball currently in play. I really like tables like Safe Cracker that play with the contemporaries with what it means to actually "lose" a ball and this is part of that.

I'll take a machine themed around "unedited footage of a bear" by Alan Resnick and co.

That would be one hell of a trippy cabinet, but also exactly the sort of pinball machine that no one is ever going to make, because why would they.
