What controller you would love to buy either if it existed or had the chance?
I personally wish there was a decent SEGA Saturn Model 2-esque controller with left and right triggers, twin TMR thumbsticks, and mechanical switches for the d-pad, face, and shoulder buttons.

I want my robot sticks. I want two plastic, phallic objects with buttons and triggers on them, so I can make a little blanket fort over me and my computer, and I can pretend I'm a little man inside of a bigger metal man's chest compartment.
I want my robot sticks. I want my robot sticks. I want my robot sticks...

I do however own a HOTAS Thrustmaster and it makes Ace Combat 7 and Star Wars Squadrons a blast. But it ain't robot sticks.

Gamecube's stick
Switch pro's Triggers
Xbox 360's Dpad
Playstation 2's face buttons
Wireless and wired mode
And Dreamcast's screen

I don't know about mechanical switches, but the other stuff is available on a retro-bit controller

I mean, Steel Battalion.

I am one to constantly switch between controllers. But for me i would like a gamepad i think like the ps1 controller but with this added features:
gyro for aiming
headphone jack with mic support for voice chat
Analog triggers... maybe. I am personally indifferent but some people like them for racing games (i prefer to use a straight up wheel though)
and thats it for me

If i want mouse controls i will use a mouse
and if i want arcade sticks and buttons well i just will use and arcade controller...

NO! lets make something a little more nasty

lets put the 6 button layout

And remove from the existence any ABXY Controllers
lets use symbols and colors fuck you Microsoft, sega and Nintendo for putting letters on the controllers and flip floping positions

Give me an xbox 360 controller with usb-c, gyro and a rechargeable battery.

The Saturn's Model 2 controller is wonderful for 2D games. Probably my favorite controller in general.

The PS4 controller is great for virtually everything else. It's a boring answer, but I don't think I need any other controllers besides these two and a traditional arcade stick. I don't think there can be one singular, perfect controller.

My current controller, the Gamesir T4 Kalied, already covers a lot of my bases.
-Mechanical switches in the buttons
-Hall effect joysticks and triggers
-Buttons on the back for mapping buttons or macros
-USB-C cable
But to make it perfect, I would add these
-The headphone jack only works with Nintendo Switch for some fucking reason. I would have it work on PC as well
-A shield style D-pad similar to the one on the Xbox Series X/S controller. It has very defined clicks and I tend to input more accurately with the shield design.

I would also love a controller that's the same, but with pressure sensitive buttons for use with PCSX2.

The one that doesn't require any additional bullshit like steam input or a controller emulator to work everywhere.

I already got mine: DualShock 4. It's perfect for me.
