A tale just as old as time itself
One is prehistoric creatures from the past and another is a mythical legends.
Which two of these famous creatures you prefer?

Dragons or Dinosaurs

Why not both? ::linkmouthcover

Both are great, but I'd have to say dinosaurs. Dinosaurs actually existed and that's an incredible thing to think about. Countless species have evolved and died out in the 4.5 billion years our planet has been around and dinosaurs are so popular because they were the fucking coolest. I will also die on the hill that feathered dinosaurs are cooler than dinos without feathers. :V Gotta love dragons though, fuzzy eastern dragons are the ultimate form of dragon.

I never knew you could post twitter links and they would appear as normal posts in here. I thought this was a screenshot for a second and got scared when i clicked the play button and the video actually started playing.
Oh! Yeah, it's super easy. It's just the "Media" tab under "More options". It supports a buncha different sites, which are listed in the tab. You probably figured this out by now, but maybe someone else will see it who does not know.

Why not both?

Who says dragons weren't real?

When oxygen (and CO2) was much more highly abundant a number of insects were much much larger (or so i've been told); Think of wasps the size of vultures.

Some say snakes had wings at one point.

There are many unknowns in the world.

Archaeologically accurate dinosaurs > all

I love Dragons though (even better if they got feathered wings).

Technically speaking dinosaurs are still here

Why not both?

Dinosaurs tend to be very interesting since they were real, and there's so many different ones and so many different things to learn about them.

Dragons have no limits since they're fantasy, and can have all kinds of different incarnations. They're undeniably cool, but honestly the more 'traditional' ones get pretty bland and overused if people don't do something special with them.

My favourite thing about dragons is that they basically existed in every human civilisations and in every epochs including the contemporary one and potentially will still be there in the future.

Rathalos is a wyvern because it lacks front legs.

Dragon are quadrupeds with wings.

Homer Simpson Nerd GIF

(You’re right!!!)

Just give me a T-rex with wings, horns, and fire breath.

Normally I'd say dinos because they make for a good nugget and great combinable zord. Then I remember my favorite zord is a dragon.
So dragon.

Dragon are quadrupeds with wings.

Soooo, what do you call a long dragon with 2 wings?

Dragons of course.
That said i do need to point something out, one thing that's always bothers me is the idea that we'd actually find dragon fossils and thus they are a myth, two things we know from legends is that first, dragons weren't viewed as mythical, but as actual threats at one time, so they likely did exist in some form and went extinct, second is that dragon's bones, blood, meat etc were said to be magical in nature, whether this is true or not is irrelevant, there would likely be no corpses of the creature left as they'd be used for things like medicines and artifacts.

For this reason i believe dragons likely did exist at one time, and were hunted to extinction due to how valuable their corpses were at the time.
One thing to remember is that most dragon stories died out around the time of the invention of the cannon.
