Sometimes, the simplest change makes the biggest difference
Dragon Quest came with a big flaw: In Chapter 5, you lack a manual tactics menu, not only infurating since chapter 2 and 4 gives you full control of your party, worse is that your allies controlled by AI will drop their canonical smarts in favor of doing their own thing, most famously your medic unit spamming Instakill magic in bosses

This mod fixes this issue by adding a Manual Option, no longer your wizards will cast magic on a enemy that casted Bounce or try to use spells when disabled of them

Mmmm... glad this is out there for those who want it, but I'd not use it. The party AI is a big part of DQ4's identity. It helps you feel like they're a band of loyal supporters who will do anything for you, the hero.
