Tierlist fighting is the death of civil discussion, but I think this one is more innocuous than ranking games

Here’s my ranking of the Hero designs:

Feel free to tell me how wrong I am for putting the IV guy so low (it really just boils down to his ugly pajamas and the girl option being like the coolest Toriyama design ever made)!

My only complaint is that it's just the mainline games Seriously though, I'm not even sure how I'd rank the designs. I'd say 8's protag is my favourite design and probably call it a day

I would just say the DQ7 main guy has the worst design in the series and call it day lol.

I would just say the DQ7 main guy has the worst design in the series and call it day lol.

I like that he’s a little kid, always liked playing as a kid in these kind of RPGs (and Zelda) and I like his goofy hat. He looks way better in the 3DS artwork than in the original though, not as dingy.

I think 11 is the worst by a pretty wide margin, he is just so uninteresting and nothing with a yee yee ass haircut, and it doesn’t help that his outfit is really bland and has that (forgive me, Father) awful late Toriyama colors.

DQ is backbone of console RPG IMO, and they inspire lot of cool games after, but before 8 and XI, almost nobody talked here locally. people just flocking to more easy to chew RPG. I only know some small numbers of people who plays DQ locally.

I've playing most of DQ but after these years, I only finished 1 and 9, testing 3HD few weeks ago, and love it. but cannot continue because of works. tried XI but the hair bugs me, and trying bunch of mods, but still cannot find replace that android 17 hair : /

Blue Dragon was pretty fun too. I played through that when I got my Xbox a few years ago

Butterfinger with caramel added was originally with butterscotch instead of caramel and it was what was used for the Harry Potter butterbeer blizzard which was my first ever blizzard I tried. Butterscotch is gone, so I do caramel and its good but not the same.
