Yeah!! I see people not wanting to play / not recommending the franchise because it’s “dated” or always has the same “formula” or whatever. I haven’t played all of them, or even most of the franchise, so I can’t really say that for sure, but… come on. Maybe I just like any game, or maybe the game is actually good. Who knows? Opinions

I really hate the word "outdated", I always find that it's not even remotely applicable to whatever it's used to criticise but it's especially meaningless towards games. "Formulaic" is also a pretty overdone criticism too. It's just pure recence bias. No game has a shelf life, they're as good or bad as the day they were released.
