Huh, that's cool. I remember liking that one, but don't remember too much. My screenshots aren't helping me >_< I forget what was going, but I remember it was a really fun anime lol

I really wished they actually made an attempt to replicate Q Hayashida's art for the anime. The manga is one of my all time favourites, and I was really quite disappointed with the anime adaptation. I get 3D anime is still kind of in its infancy, and with complex character designs like hers; it is more cost effective and easier on the animators to make 3D rigs, but it looks WAY too clean and stiff for me. It really needs to have that rough, gritty and grungy look her artwork has.

I agree, I like the anime adaptation, but the manga is definitely better.

I have a problem with anime like this regarding source media in general. I will always refer to the source material of whatever media type as being the definitive experience. I'm sure the anime is good but I'd rather just read the manga. It's the same with Chainsaw Man, Jojo and Berserk.
