Retroachievements users are quite thankful that cheat codes can finally be used (especially one that can fixed the game), this is also the biggest update so far for emulation related stuff

They are. That's why I always give them this look when a project I happen to like stalls.

I'm not particularly bothered about them messing with fangames since you have to be blind to reality or suffer from Stockholm syndrome to still make any for those ingrates but messing with emulators is a few steps too far.

When I updated dolphin, I noticed that it wants the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable to be updated as well. So I did just that.

Not only dolphin but other emulators/games require that. That's why i have abbodi1406's pac installed. All of the redists are installed:
