Does the PSP still get love?

Ik this is somewhat of a late message to this forum but yes, PSP still gets love till this day, everyone praised how it kind of revolutionized the Handheld Gaming world and there are a lot of people saying that this is better than the Vita

I got two PSP, one white and then a black one to replace the other, both bought when the psp was already "dead", with no new releases, and I believe Vita was already released.
My first game has been Dissidia 012.
I wanted to have the console to play that title and Crisis Core, but of course after having it I found out and enjoyed lots of wonderful games.
Gamestop and its used copies of PSP games has been my heaven for a long time :) Many physical games, cheap and used, with user manuals and in great condition... I got a nice collection ❤️
Now, with a hacked Vita, I still give love to psp with adrenaline, I've put in it almost all the games I loved plus some I've not had the chance to play physical.

I had one . It was the Fat one bundled with Ridge Racer . Jailbreaked and modded it to hell and back .

It was an awesome handheld machine. Almost the same power as ps2 and portable ?

That sounds actually like no-brainer to get it.
Sadly the Analog-stick didnt hold it out for too long , thanks to certain QTEs from some games that require analog-stick input of the hardcore kind .

Since my PSP is dead , i use PPSSPP to play those golden gems .

Ohhh shit, your PSP has tons of dust, I feel itchy all over my body. Clean it for god's sake! :O
Yeah it becomes dusty very quickly in my Room no matter how often I clean it.I can't keep it anywhere where it doesn't dust either :(. And that dust on the PSP will not stay I clean it sooner or later,if I would not clean my PSP often that PSP would look even worse than that.

Ohh, how unfortunate :(. Dust is a neverending problem we all should face for the rest of our lives. I wish there would be a dustless place in the world...

I still used my PSP Go up until this year. Finally made the transition to the Vita, porting all my games, saves, and emulators over.

Yes, very much so. I went through several PSPs as a kid and jailbroke each one. This was back when you needed a Pandora battery lol. I thought about getting another one for nostalgia sake. Don't miss those limited space memory sticks though! 2GB oof

If you do decide to go for it bear in mind that now you can just buy a microSD adapter that lets you use those instead of the MMC cards. Waaaay cheaper and it means you can have an insane amount of space availble. IIRC you can even get adapters that have two slots so you can double load it with microSD cards and have enough space to fit on most of the libray.

Also talking of pandora batteries gives me such nostalgia. I remember opening up the battery and breaking the one contact on the chip that turned it into a pandora battery. Such good times.

I only got into PSP games around 2 years ago some of the games are now my favourite to play especially on laptop as the resolution holds up fine. Would love
a PSP physically though.
