I do I’m quite fond of you all and talk about some by name, mostly to my spouse who just joined and occasionally with a close friend or two

I’m realizing as I say this that some things sound more natural and funny in person but the mental image of you, like, oversharing forum drama with your kids (which I’m sure you don’t do lol) is so funny to me

Haha! There's a very real language barrier, too. Couldn't really do that even if I wanted to :P

But really, just mostly show them games in case something catches their eye and the occasional funny post.

I've mentioned it in passing to a couple friends but nothin super substantial. I did send some screenshots of an old convo from the hot takes thread that I had with Gorse which is as detailed as convo about the site has ever gotten. Speaking of, I JUST found out deleted their account, which is sad to see :(

Only briefly told my brother because he was curious what this newfangled forum I've been browsing so much was, and I wanted him to read my WoW article .
He's cool though, and knows the laws of speaking about emulation sites.

I talk about it all the time with my nephew, but he likes playing retro games with me.
He and our little cousins play GameCube and Wii games when we get together.

The nephew is learning about Linux and Emulation with real interest.

But he is the only person I know IRL who cares, beyond old friends in another cities with whom sometimes I talk games through Facebook or something.

This is the little bugger and I, celebrating my birthday on Tuesday:

As you can appreciate from the picture his Samurai Powers are already Over 9000!
Capable of stopping my powerful attack with ease.
