Does anyone have any concerns with GQuuuuuuX?

Cool Codenames! Trap Gundam makes so much sense! lol!
Also is G-cucks in the U.C.??? cuz they say Char's in there but Ikeda Shuichi isn't voicing him this time around.
To quote an old post of mine: "It's set in U.C 85. During the One year war in Side 6, Gene's Zaku malfunctioned so he couldn't partake in the mission to steal the Gundam, meaning that he didn't ruin the operation's surprise element: this had a huge butterfly effect that led to Char actually stealing the RX-78-02 and using it against the Federation.
Considering that there are Zaku police ms in Gquuuuux, it's highly possible that Zeon won the one year war, or at least didn't dissolve into the Remnants and Axis."
Just curious about it's continuity is all. Still intrigued about the show. The Movie is prologue it seems an the series follows kinda like what they did with Witch from Mercury.????
It's a couple of episodes strung together to form a movie, it's a preview from the actual series
I just wish that they would go with an art style that didn't make every character look like pudgy, round-headed fan characters, but that's what all anime looks like now, so.
I'd say Quacks' character designs are quite unique, it's the pokemon artist after all.

I'm still not a huge of the White and Red Gundam head design

But the rest of the body looks fine

I really like how they did a spin on the OYW and Dozle's dream coming to fruition lol. After seeing a screening of it, I was a bit worried that it will follow the same footsteps as Witch from Mercury plot wise. There was soo much potential with the show but man did it really fall flat in the later episodes.

Is possible that goes in the same footsteps as Witch Of Mercury, i have a feeling that gquuuuuux will have even more surprises in it.

Gundam is forever and will never end, the only concern i have is how many series i will watch in my lifetime. Every time a new one is published it's a good day for humanity.

It's not bad, and the first episode has a fun "Kid hijacks a giant robot" moment that so many of these shows start with. There is a weird quality to it, being split between a modern Gundam update for a new audience and being a meticulous AU "bad ending" for the original series with a heavy dose of decades-old lore.

Here's hoping that going forward, the main story doesn't get swallowed up by constant winking references. It's gonna happen to some degree, but it would make the new narrative feel undercooked in the long run if they keep asking us to be nostalgic for another show.
