as a Zoomers, this show fascinating me even if I born way past from it's original run. I'm mostly grew up with anime, Regular Show and many childhood shows of the late 2000s/2010s but I still remember watching 80s and 90s shows like Hey Arnold, Animaniacs, Pre-2000s Anime and so many shows across the web and re-run.

The whole "anthropomorphic animals genre", I enjoyed quite a lot of those, Chip and Dale, old Slapstick comedy like Tom and Jerry and Hanna Barbera cartoons like Yogi bear, looney tunes, Biker Mice from mars, etc.
Maybe they are the reason we are praying to girls with fake ears.

Loved it <3
I love Swat Kats, one of the better western made shows of the period. It's criminal that it was cut short
I guess it didn't sell enough toys? Now that I think about it, I don't remember any toys, I just liked the show. Unlike....
Somehow they remind me of
I remember having toys from this. Street sharks too... Huh, idk why swat kats didn't take off in that way, I remember it being a lot cooler than other shows.

Yeah it was deemed not marketable enough and too dark and serious, somehow.

Huh, was it that dark? Yea it was pretty serious, but nothing sticks out in my memory, but it has been decades since watching >_> Didn't Captain Planet have a kid die of a drug overdose during an episode? I don't think "dark" was a problem in this era. I suspect it was more of mismanagement: not paying animators enough etc.

Probably more accurate yeah, but who knows what censors think.

I think I was 5 when it aired.

I remember watching, enjoying and thinking the jet was rad as hell but I can't for the love of God remember the plot.

Well, anthropomorphic animals with attitude were all the rage back in the 90s. For some reason.

They looked cool, but I was never a fan of aerial dogfights. I knew of the series since childhood, but never cared for it.

I LOVED this show when I was a kid, If I had a Super Nintendo instead of a Genesis I probably would've had the video game too. I heard there's a revival in the works too.

Back then in Germany , it was`nt shown there and i missed out . Many years back then when i watched on youtube Cartoon intros from 90s and 80s shows , Swat Kats catched my eye and i ordered at amazon the whole series on a DVD-Box and i love the show . The Theme-songs are awesome and i liked the the animation of it .

Besides Biker Mice from Mars , this show belongs to my favourites too and it stil holds up very well .

I do remember Seeing replicas of the show war plane and and few action figures of the two main characters(bad quality if i remember right, probably bootlegs)

Yeah it was one of my favorite cartoons to watch on Cartoon Network as a kid back in the day.

I Grew up with the Orig run of Swat Kats, and loved it then, as i do now.

i still sometime pop it on and watch a few Episodes of it.
it had a Rather Awesome Time traveling villain, Taskmaster or something such as that, looked like a Undead Wizard Kat.

The Metallia Kats where Bad ass to
Was a cool show tho.

I remember seeing ads for it on The Big Channel (alongside the cartoon adaptation of Legends Of Treasure Island) but I never sat down to actually watch it.

I remember seeing promos on both TBS and Cartoon Network back in 1995. Saw only a couple episodes but it never aired as much. What's cool was that TMS was behind the animation and Barry Gordon (Voice of Donatello and Bebop from Ninja Turtles) voiced one of the Swat Kats.
