Do you use your consoles for something other than gaming?

The ol' Wii U is the go to for YouTube on the TV, when I wanna watch on there. I have a ton of uh...CD players as well if you know what I mean, but my PC is the go to for Audio and Blu Ray discs. I could just plug in a long HDMI cable from the PC to the TV, but that's too much work. ::pikachu-sleep

I use my Sega Saturn to play music. I buy CDs and was listening to Soundgarden and Alice in Chains. I always played music on my PS1, so this was a no brainer when I got a Saturn recently. My dreamcasts are modded, so my only SEGA console that can read CDs is my Saturn.

PS3 is the movie player, arguably better than the PS4.

I remember using my PS2 as a DVD player, my PSP as a music player and I also remember burning a lot of my CDs on my 360 so I could play with my favorite albums as background music. I was really impressed with that feature.

Nowadays, the only non-gaming use I have for my consoles is music streaming and even then It's only so I can play while listening to music with headphones...

It was so handy having that feature on 360. It was good to have the option for RPG grinding, games with little to no voiced dialogue, or that had kinda boring sound design.

Who need smartphone when you have Vita?
PS Vita used to be able to make a phone call and technically it was the best gamer "phone" around lol.

"Don't call me when I'm in the middle of a boss fight in Freedom Wars for hours, bitch!!!" lolol

does a vita have sim card capability then?
Nope. Sim card is not necessarily needed for it. For PS Vita there used to be a functioning Skype service that allowed you to call phones for a fee until Microsoft killed it. Nowadays you can make a phone call via Microsoft Teams but it is not supported on PS Vita.

"Boss your daughter refuses to come with me so I can take her to you because she says she wanna hang out with her boyfriends, so may I go to a hospital instead because my arms looks so weird WTF happening to my veins? Please don't fire me because of this, I need money to pay for my hospital fees" lolol

Im watching Blue-rays , youtube and movies on the web with my ps4 .

My DVD-movies are used for my trusty old modded classic xbox because the Interface for it is much better to use and the picture quality is maintained while on the ps4 it ruins the picture quality from thw DVD-movies thanks to its way too high resolution capabilities .
