Oh ringtones are my jam!!!
Used to have Chrono Trigger battle 1 as my ringtone up until 2 months ago , phone rang frequently in college (during breaks of course) so much so my friend started dancing once lol
Another situation was when i had my phone in my jacket pocket and i wasn't wearing it so when it rang in middle of class (thankfully lecture was over) i couldn't locate the opening of my pocket so i can zip It down and answer the call , instead the whole theme played out! My friend came in and was like "cool theme bro"
Then i switched to "battleground of the bear" from Red Alert 3 i then located the combat mix of "Red Rock For Mother Russia" also from RA3
Which i currently use as my ringtone
(note that the first 2 seconds were removed up until the guitar starts anything before was edited out)
Last year i had FF8 chocobo theme (it's my favorite chocobo theme btw)
I also had FF9 battle for a few months but it was at a time when nearly no one called so it was pretty rare to hear it
In the future i plan to have "The Tragic Prince" from Symphony Of The Night of course it will be edited until the riff at the beginning is heard
Also FF7 boss fight is a good ringtone
And the Red Alert 3 allies combat music "Bring It On" and "Rock and awe"
I would love to put Silent Hill 1 intro music but fear that i will break into tears everytime i hear it
I also want to put Hell March especially Hell March 1 as my ringtone at some point but the beginning boots on ground section takes some 30 seconds so i need to figure a perfect good 10 seconds of that then switch into the proper badass music
There is also "Act instinct" and "Warfare" along with "Just do it up" from Tiberian Dawn those have bombastic and blood pumping intros which is what matters the most because you will only hear the first 10~20 seconds of the song in most occasions
