Do you stay up late at night? Why?

Because the voices won't go away

(It's a joke @χKai but thanks for worrying)
Well, I'm glad my condition is a joke to you

You can do that when younger, when older you will get big belly very fast, when the later meal wont digest afterlate evening/night it will be stored as fat.

I've always thought night time was the best time to take care of my stuff, specially when I was still in college, but lately I've been forced to take meds to have a proper sleep schedule and routine :p

Sometimes I skip the meds (my doctor knows, btw) just cus this doesn't actually feel natural for me at all, I usually work better at night... but you know, society ::cirnoshrug

I've primarily worked overnight since 1997, so it's just second nature. Right now I'm not working and going through my parents' house trying to make sense of it all, so sometimes I just don't sleep at all. But there are days that end at like 4 am and start again at 6 am, so it's a mess. If I get to pick though, I'm all about going to bed around 1-2 in the afternoon and getting up around 9 pm. The only drawback is that a lot of stuff isn't open, so if you need something for that night, you better have it ahead of time. Idk. It's not an ideal existence for anyone, but it works for me... or I tell myself that, anyway.

I stay up late because that's when my friends are up. Why they're awake at those hours? God knows why.
When they're not up, I tend to get really deep in thought. Helps me understand where I'm at in the world. I need time to reflect or I begin running through the motions of life, and that in and of itself becomes tiring.

Being cursed to hear voices from regular show thinking they're real sounds horrifying
p sure the ones I'm hearin' are just regular ghosts

I have irregular work shifts so I often cover "graveyard shifts", the worse part is the terrible frequencies for public transportation.
I do frequent the night, for reading and general learning, for the fact that is the only time the "noises" are more subdued.

I am an introvert egg, so late night signifies all the mandatory talk being over and me being able to be me, that said i never get past midnight

Personally, they're the hours I feel most at peace
Indeed. I often contemplate between late night gaming during the weekday or just reading. Regardless of either choice, it's a very peaceful period of time.

My Sleep Schedule is based around my work schedule

I work 1p-9:30p Sleep around 3a-4a and then wake up at 10:30a

I can't imagine being awake during the morning on a regular basis.

It's part of why I started saying "Good Morning!" when it's evening or super late in the evening. That, and I like to get people's reactions; it's nice when they say it back. Sometimes I have to explain that in my mind, way it works is anytime shortly after I wake up (so like the next 4-6 hours) is considered morning to me. 😅

Same!! It's one of those simpler pleasures in life..
I also like telling people that "mornings are for sleeping!!!"

It also seems to be ubiquitous among most third-shift workers the idea that "tomorrow doesn't happen until I go to sleep," or some variant thereof..

I've worked many night shifts, night life is more peaceful and people move slower, act with more purpose and are more honest I find. Occasionally people may be out looking for trouble but under the cover of night they stand out far more than in the day if that makes sense. I mean everyone has it in their mind that if anyone wanted to try something night would be when they would be on the prowl to do it, so looking suspicious typically comes with expectations. Keep yourself fully presented and no one will care to keep an eye on you or worse prepare themselves for you in the case you may be dangerous. Looking and acting edgy at night will raise everyone's blood pressure, don't be that guy.
