Do you rewind or fast forward a lot?

fast forwarding i do occasionally if its a long cutscene ive seen before or something like that. always turboing thru any pokemon game

i save scum alllll the time tho, especially in rpgs. never rly been an achievement person & my Hardcore Gamer card declined long ago so i dont mind reloading a few times to get a certain dialogue choice

I don't rewind but I do use save states, which could be considered almost the same, although I try to limit myself a bit so as to not to end up constantly save-scumming or cheesing, but it really depends on the game and my current patience, as it is known that old games liked to artificially lengthen their runtimes. I do use fast-forward sometimes if something feels too slow (for example, going through the water zones in King's Field IV and Shadow Tower: Abyss, lmao)

I don't rewind but fast forwarding and skipping is basically a way of life for me. I do it whenever i can not only in games but in anime, movies and videos too. My small adhd brain can't wait to get to the juicy parts

Rewinding is a habit I've been trying to get rid of, but fast forwarding I'm never ashamed of doing, especially while playing a grindy JRPG.

Depends on the game ,I always fast forwardsl FF battles in ps1 ,ATB+Slow animation + winning screen+battle intro they get old pretty fast
As for rewinding I'm not sure what this is exactly but if you mean save states ,then yes I use them especially for multiple dialogue Options games, I mean I gotta see what every option leads to

Yes, I tend to abuse rewinding and save states in emulated games that support it. I also rewind and fast forward on a vcr too, and my vcr fucking hates it when I do that.

I use FF on battles that are way to slow *cough*Pokemon*cough* than they needs to be so I can save my time (and sanity). Never used rewind though.

I've definitely used save states, but I can't be assed to bind a rewind key. I did use rewind on the NSO emulators though.
Seriously though, a lot of games are damn near impossible without save states. The final 3 bosses of Shinobi for PS2 are borderline nightmares without it. I tried, I really did, but waiting for a literal 5 minute unskippable sequence on the final boss is so damn stupid. I have other games to play and more important things to do.

Rarely and depends on the game. If there are tedious slow parts or cut scenes that are unbearable then yes for fastforward. And if the game is ridiculously hard with no decent save options or checkpoints, then definitely rewind as I don't want to start all over again (NES games) or start a tough level all over again.
