Save for some expecifics I think I don't really remember the first games I've played but will try

Action: Super Mario 64
Action - Adventure: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Adventure:
Puzzle:
RPG:
Final Fantasy X
Simulation:
The Sims
Strategy:
Age of Empires
Sports:
MMO:

I kinda cheated there. Zelda OoT and Pokemon are RPGs and I've played them before but FFX was the first "proper" RPG I've played.

It was like having a religious revelation for me ahahahah. Up to that point I've only played Nintendo my whole life but after a sleepover in a friend's house, we played some FFX and fell in love with it. It really opened my mind to what video games could be. I think I played till completion about 10 times throughout the years.

Action: Pitfall (2600)
Action - Adventure: Conan (C64) [i think this counts? this genre is ambiguous to me]
Adventure: Death in the Caribbean (C64)
Puzzle: Tetris (GB) [if that's what is meant by puzzle genre]
RPG: Might and Magic II (C64)
Simulation: Gunship (C64)
Strategy: Utopia (Intellivision)
Sports: Home Run (2600)
MMO: World of Warcraft (PC)

The first games of each genre I've played:

Action: Super Mario Bros. (FC/NES, 1985)
Action-Adventure: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GC, 2006)
Adventure: It is Possibly the Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima/Hudson's Adventure Island (FC/NES, 1986/87)
Puzzle: Magic Jewelry (FC, 1990)
RPG: The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (GC, 2003)
Simulation: N/A
Strategy: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (GC, 2005)

I'm omitting games released in Sweden only because I can't for the life of me know which one was first, but they were mostly educational adventure games anyways.

Action: Megaman
Platformer: Megaman

Simulation: Pikmin, but I know many would consider that a unique action-hybrid kind of RTS, so my first "traditional" strategy game would've been Halo Wars
Sports: Mario Golf
