As a kid I always liked football (soccer) but my dad never took me to join any club, as a result I never really learned to play properly.
As a teen I did kickboxing but the instructor was savage, he was a boxer and had no problem going all in against a 17 year old amateur. I quit after a while. He also borrowed my copy of Gran Turismo and never returned it.
I also joined a basketball club but the teammates were really mean, like they were pissed off I joined them. Not one of them tried to talk to me or be friends. The coach never teach me the fundamentals of basketball so I never got good, eventually I left due to hostility.
At some point I got into inline skating, it was really fun. Not so much for the knees. It's a sport that works better with a group of friends.
As an adult I got into 'Futsal' or 5-a-side football. I played from 2019 until 2023. Like 200~ matches in total. But ultimately I quit. It was very competitive and got injured many times, once I had to get stitches on my chin after someone made me fall.
Now I try to solo run in trails when it's not too hot or too cold. I'm not particularly good at running without purpose, it is boring to me. But at least nobody tried to injure me doing it yet.
So yeah the very sad story of my sports life.
Always enthusiast to do it, not really welcomed by any group of people.
