That's the real Eternal Punishmenton the contrary i found innocent sin was quick paced and eternal punishment was a slog to play through in the early game.

the eternal punishment was having a party of three for the first few dungeons all along....That's the real Eternal Punishment
What if the real Eternal Punishment was the friends we made along the waythe eternal punishment was having a party of three for the first few dungeons all along....
The difference between the two is that Eternal Punshiment, unlike Innocent Sin, requires the player to use their brain.on the contrary i found innocent sin was quick paced and eternal punishment was a slog to play through in the early game. eikichi had a lot to do with the vibe tho so it might've just been that.
innocent sin is the only persona game i've replayed its just THAT fun especially when the robonazis show up with their chainsaw animations.
Now I know for sure I'm not missing anything having skipped the first two Persona games. Thanks! The difference between the two is that Eternal Punshiment, unlike Innocent Sin, requires the player to use their brain.
Innocent Sin is one of the most brain-dead games I've ever played, simply pathetic in terms of difficulty, and it's not easy but still being a lot of fun, it's easy to the point of being incredibly monotonous.
The Persona 2 duology has great stories, but its gameplay has by far one of the worst battle systems I've ever experienced. Now I know for sure I'm not missing anything having skipped the first two Persona games. Thanks!![]()

So they're bad games, then.
well actually...What if the real Eternal Punishment was the friends we made along the way
i dont know. i dont remember having a hard time with eternal punishment. i didnt think the dungeons were hard either with their gimmicks(but they were still a fun addition since innocent sin didnt have a lot of dungeon gimmicks)The difference between the two is that Eternal Punshiment, unlike Innocent Sin, requires the player to use their brain.

ok the part where you had to collect cards by negotiating was a slog i admit i liked the recruiting system from p1 much better and im glad they stopped using it in other games. The Persona 2 duology has great stories, but its gameplay has by far one of the worst battle systems I've ever experienced.
I didn't even say that Eternal Punishment is a difficult game (I don't even think it's that difficult) I just said that unlike Innocent Sin, it's a game that requires the player to change Personas relatively often, unlike Innocent Sin, where you can finish the entire game without changing your personas just by using the main Personas, Prime Personas and Ultimate Personas.i dont know. i dont remember having a hard time with eternal punishment. i didnt think the dungeons were hard either with their gimmicks(but they were still a fun addition since innocent sin didnt have a lot of dungeon gimmicks)
play the ps1 port its really pretty compared to the snes version. With those cases presented, I think I'll try them after I get through at least the first Shin Megami Tensei game.
Sometimes I worry I’m not a proper enjoyer of ‘such an such’ because I’m not into the mainstream parts of itI play games because I love them, I’ve always been rather removed from the ‘cool kids’
Tbh when confronted with people with a surface level knowledge of things I enjoy, like anime and games they’ll ask if I’ve experienced something main stream I’ll be at a bit of a loss because I probably haven’t. Since I’m busy huddling in my own corner. I actually prefer when they’re less popular since it means less people to be a dick.
My thought process is ‘looks interesting, I’mma try it out’
Plus I personally avoid more realistic graphically ‘pleasing’ 3D games because they make me slightly uncomfortable, ruin my immersion.
In other words I do/ enjoy whatever I want
Man, I miss Tadashi Satomi so much because, unlike Katsura Hashino, his goonerism was actually funny!WRONG
persona 1 is good because it has real guns unlike the phantom losers and persona 2 is good because you fight hitler's army of demons and robots plus the OST is really good and and and its just good ok
Who the fuck am I gonna impress by playing video games?
Is it cool now to play video games?
Sweet! favorite arcade games? Or were you always strictly a console/PC player?I've been a nerdy dork playing video games since the 70s, at least I'm cool now.
I have Kowloon's Gate in my backlog :DThese three incredibly obscure games are the ones I really want to play in the future (unfortunately, only Garage: Bad Dream Adventure is in English, the other two don't have English fan translations yet).View attachment 74743View attachment 74744View attachment 74746
