Okay now that the shutdown happened I've grown to hate it mostly cause I'm working without pay for god knows how long. It's a love/hate relationship. The work itself is incredibly fun and it's a luxury to have a job you actively enjoy doing so I will forever appreciate I landed in such a position in life while it also being something with lots of upward movement I can comfortably stick with until retirement. Shipyard politics however is the bane of my existence.

How does the company make money to pay its staff if you rent everything out for freeWell I will say this the job I have is a pain in the ass during winter seasons and I honestly just wanna be at home. But the job in it self is one great thing for the whole city.
I work at a place that is called recreational bank yes that the best translation on the name I can give. What it is basically think of it as a library but for sport gear you can rent ski´s, bicycles, roller blades, skate boards and many many more with out having to pay money for it.
So it´s a great thing for families and other that don´t have the money to buy the gear they need I mean Ice hockey equipment is expensive as hell but you can rent it from us for 0 bucks.
Reason I say it´s a pain in the ass during winter season well we get about 600 people a day renting winter gear.
I got no clue honestly I was hired but what I think it´s all paid buy the city so probably tax money in the end as everything else. But I know it was created out of charity for families with very bad income. How does the company make money to pay its staff if you rent everything out for free
