So I assume we all have a general understanding of what a inner monologue is something like have inner thoughts which I thought was
the normal state of a human being to have inner thoughts but apparently many people don't have inner thoughts a inner monologue at all which did surprise me,
so I am not judging you if you don't have one feel free to tell how does it feel ?

Ehm well I have a inner monologue which makes me think about many things on my personal life and on a broader concept.

its unclear how many people don't have any inner monologue but I read that its supposed to be about 25-30% of people who don't have it all..so where are you
on this do you have a Inner Monologue and have to think about many things yourself or do you just act without much if at all inner thought about it ?

i talk to myself because sometimes only a goat understands a goat
Cool and do you answer yourself back...nah I do it sometimes to people may think I am weird if I do it but eh..Its just what I did sometimes who needs friends if you have yourself right..which can help is when you pretend like you have someone on your phone :) but seriously when I am frustrated it can help letting out some steam.
Also I am perfectly sane its just sometimes you want to express yourself without getting judged

Not only i have an inner voice, mine is rather an inner world! ::hellmo
Based take ;)
I also love creating Scenarios and Ideas for Worlds in my head,
its always so fascinating and also frustrating when I forget them later on.

So much potential wasted...sigh

I remember back when I was a kid, I thought that me having an inner monologue was something unique to me, and so I pictured that voice as a kind of small person who guides me into the right path or who talks to me whenever I am unsure of something or whenever I am thinking. I saw him as an advice-giver and someone to talk to during times of need or smth like that. What's funny is that when I eventually found out that a majority of people have this inner monologue and that I wasn't unique, that image of this small person never really disappeared, and even till now, I still think of this voice inside of me as that small advice giver and someone who is there for me always, no matter where or what I am doing.

I suggest writing them!
Some great stories might come out of them! 🌟

Yes I did try that a couple of times but thinking of them is far easier than actually getting my lazy butt moving to actually write them ::sailor-embarrassed

I did manage to write a song though
the Idea came into my mind during a Dream the whole text is from me but the Instruments and Voice is AI with my guidance though you could say anyhow its in Palatine German with some minor errors and it would translate as my Star Hero

My inner monologue is just a bunch of Banjo Kazooie style grunts and moans in different voice registers.

I have the same problem... however, i found out that a collab work can help a lot in motivating me to write!

Legend of Ethereal is a good example!
Not only it pushed me to write, but thanks to @Xdqwerty's strong and vivid imaginations, it turned out far richer than i could ever done it myself! 🌟

I think RGT can have more of these... I'm looking forward to it!

I spend many hours a day talking to myself as I'm moving around while working. It actually works really well because I know my stomping grounds so well that I can focus on whatever's on my mind without letting any external interferences get in the way of my monologue.

I have honestly written entire articles just by doing this.

I live mostly alone(have a dog & brother lives in my basement but we don't talk), have no social life, and constantly stressing about work and what needs fixing at home. Unfortunately my inner monologue is all I have.

I talk to myself too much and I always try to fit my character into everything; my inner character is the lod. I feel like nobody shares my tastes. I'm getting better at dealing with my problems; I'm doing writing therapy, writing down everything I'm thinking.

I sometimes get lost in it and lose track of time
