do you feel that you're less skilled compared when you were a kid?

No, I definitely sucked at games more as a kid. Not once did I finish Oregon Trail without killing over half my wagon-members.

Years ago i would've probably given up on games like Monster hunter but nowadays i love challenging games sure it can be a bit grindy leveling up in an rpg or defeating monsters multiple times to get armor and weapons(that i didn't have to pay for, fuck you rise for the paid dlc bullshit since 2021 or 2022!!) anyway the point is if it's fun or the free dlc is freaking awesome(MHXX) then I'll grind forever lol.
