Welcome to a thread I have been forgetting to make for more than a year straight XD

Simple question: if a game gives you the option to battle against bots, is that your preferred option and/or something you truly enjoy?

I remember having a lot of fun playing against the Counter-Strike 1.6 bots when no-one was around and I distinctly recall banging my head against the wall while shooting some Half-Life ones that were tough-as-nails even on the absolutely lowest difficulty -- quite a humbling experience, I must say XD

I also recall laughing my ass off with the braindead ones someone made for the original Call Of Duty, having clearly abandoned all development fifteen minutes in XD (seriously, they'd lurch forward, twitch in place, occasionally work out how to open doors and use stairs, and fire their weapons constantly -- they were a sniper's paradise XD).

Even nowadays I play a lot of Doom against them and is really fun... IF they don't get a hold of the BFG, because then they'd spam that and nothing else XD

So, yeah, not my preferred way to play, but I still enjoy it very much.

What about you?

Hell Yeah, my dude 🤟❗

My personal hell were the ones on the bomb-defusing maps from CS 1.6 -- they were just too damn good at planting the explosive and defending it. There was some insane waypointing going on there.

"Terrorists Win"

My brother, I am just trying to buy an M4 and a helmet. Give me some time.

Unrelated (mostly) but that reminds me of some servers where gear was directly tied to frags, meaning that everyone started off with pistols and only the best players could get long rifles and stuff.

I was personally more of a shotgun guy -- annoyed the absolute hell outta my friends while hiding on the alley on CS_Assault.

Good times.

Ever since my 3 out of 5 horrible online experience interacting with Monster Hunter community, with the latest one being playing suboptimally and getting a threat, the addition of AI Companion (in Rise and Wilds) has been a blessing to me, especially when I refuse to pay for PS+ to play online in Wilds.

Somehow, I always have nicer and friendlier experience playing with Japanese player regardless of skill level and Rank, and the second is when I'm playing cracked version of Rise with online-fix where I genuinely have good time and the most fun hunting of my life for 2 months.

Stopping playing cracked Rise for Wilds was grave mistake. Not only I stopped jolly co-op with them, but also getting bullied for playing "the wrong way" in Wilds.

It's just my luck, I guess, for being talentless and shit player. Sorry for ranting and trauma dumping.

Absolutely I remember that. They call it gun-game in Call of duty but I can't for the life of me remember if it was called the same or even had a name back in the day.
Sorry to derail again. I will talk about Counter-strike or old half-life mods all day.

Just call them out for being a bunch of fucks. You can play however you want. if they don't want to play with you, fuck em. Find a new group. They weren't cool anyways.

Lately I've been joining arc raiders games with only a flute. Sometimes in team mode.
Some people don't appreciate a dedicated bard. Others find it quite inspiring.
I will play that fucking flute until I die though.

1.6 expert bots make the game from a regular fps to a survival horror one...
