I was recently chewed out by my doctor because I had a critical lack of Vitamin C in my body (well-within scurvy territory, actually) due to how much water I drink, how generally unbalanced my diet is and how frantic and chaotic modern life can become.

I was ordered to buy and consume these supplements immediately:

These cost a pretty penny, but they are supposed to help with the --noticeable-- decline on my overall health, so I'd say it balances out.

What about you? Is this something you pay attention to at all?

I tried to balance things out & wound up with a magnesium deficiency for a few weeks. Electrolytes are competitive lil bastards & too much of one can deplete another.

It can also be the cause of thinning hair , especially when people take a lot of Zinc for colds. I take a zinc-copper supplement & large doses of d3, especially in the winter

Being an online Goblin I mostly an lacking on Vitamin D, but living in a country with a mostly rural economy does have some advantages, and I do get a lot from just eating normally. Like produce is very accessible, even in restaurants or urban areas.

I do take some vitamin D every now and again, since I live in a place with fairly little sunshine and apparently my body needs a boost sometimes during winter.

Beyond that I've currently got an iron deficiency, so I'm getting shots every now and again - kind of annoying, but also sort of good news, since I'm pretty hopeful that it'll improve my overall energy level and help with my depression in the long run.

Rooting for you, bud 💪❗

I do take the "One A Day" brand of gummies, usually at the end of the day before bed. As I live in the Pacific Northwest and am a stereotypical West Coast coffee junkie, I often consume the pipin' hot brown bean drink to the point of getting jitters and twitches. Adding some vitamins back into my system at night seems like the very least I can do to offset that 😅
