Do you believe in UFOs/Aliens?

I mean yeah.

They probably haven't come in contact with us because we are very stupid.

I believe in both as a concept, but not that we have encountered any yet

Going with the standard definition of UFO, in which do I believe there are things flying around that I can't identify? Absolutely. Do I think they came from Outer Space!!!? Not in most cases.

But I've yet to see someone explain Foo Fighters from World War II. Flying objects that were completely invisible to RADAR; impossibly fast given era technology (and impressively fast today); were reported in official military reports and civilian newspapers on both sides of the war with everyone thinking they were some secret weapon belonging to the other side until the war ended and generals/admirals got together to compare notes. NO-ONE has been able to explain Foo Fighters, and asking the current NASA-type community to do so will get you kicked off the property and banned from returning.

I believe more in Stealth Bombers than new age stuff personally.

If aliens exist Ume, they don't want shit to do with our stank asses. We got put in an isolation bubble a long time ago like that South Park episode. Our solar system is real, but it's half of what's really out there because those aliens don't want our nasty asses stinking up the universe.

I don't know about intelligent civilizations but knowing about extremophile organisms has me convinced that there's life all around our solar system.

I don't think any of us would be shocked if we found some kind of animal life out there. If we're talking about actual sentient aliens? I understand it's silly to think they would do anything but immediately destroy us but there might be a slim inexplicable way they view us like David Attenborough views a colony of ants if they've fixed resource scarcity with some kind of technology we can't comprehend.

And if you want to go down a rabbit hole then it might be that demons, angels and various gods are actually aliens, or interdimensional aliens, or something that exists on a plane of reality that intersects with ours? I always remember Trevor Moore's sketches about how our elite are basically in league with something that approximates to that, and they were always the nasty, horrid, aliens.

There's probably Alien life out there somewhere. I hope we're advanced then they are when we meet otherwise we're probably going to either get colonized or wiped out for our resources.

UFO's are sometimes just secret government projects messing with people, like the guy who'd dress up in a Gorilla suit while flying a secret supersonic jet to fuck with pilots, or the atmosphere being wiggity and cool.
That said there's almost definitely life on some planet out there in the beyond, but if its sapient its probably just also doomscrolling on its couch. Not soaring over New Mexico's welcoming hills.

I think it's much more rational and reasonable to find bacteria remnants in planets than believing in the little greys. Who ever came up with the grey looking aliens with a small body and big head?

I'd believe even more in the "Rubber-Forehead Aliens" of aliens if our model of evolution is the most viable and efficient for intelligent life-forms than "Bug-Eyed Monsters" of the 50's.

We're giving too much of our own way of thinking towards things that may not think even like us.

Maybe, in a way, humans are actually the most potentially dangerous species in the local area of the universe.

This would be ironic if someone is telling how religious beliefs are silly but still believe firmly in these life forms.

Wasn't the Northrop B-2 Spirit an UFO at some point?
