My parents used to take us to both McDonald's and Burger King with great regularity, so the Happy Meal/BK equivalent collection of toys and trinkets grew steadily for a couple of years in the late nineties/early aughts (and we usually completed sets because we got three orders every time we ate out).

It was actually pretty fun, and I kind of miss it.

What about you?

PS: Cereal box prizes also count.

Pretty sure I did. I don't specifically remember many from my childhood though. I've kept an eye out over recent years for anything interesting. Last year I got a handful of these Yu-Gi-Oh! x Sanrio crossover toys. I kinda want the rest of them, but they're kind of expensive online ::sailor-embarrassed

I remember getting McDonald's Clone Wars toys, which were just bubble heads of the characters, I probably had from some other series, but I don't remember.

The only one still around.

And I think I had some toys from cereal box mascots, but, its been so long, I was more of a computers and consoles kid, rather than toys. I did get a racing game from one of the cereal boxes.

Yes, I remember very well before 2006, fast food toys here were quality stuff, it is legit a sought-after collectible to this day.
I have few Space Jam collab toys from Church's, and transformable McDonald's french fries.
Also one of these, I have Shadow's and Amy's although I lost the latter.

WOW, I remember being a kid and loving all the happy meal stuff, the food, the toys, writing on the outside of the box. It was all great. I know they had some high level toys but I cant seem to
think of any names. Hell, it's been a LOOOOOONG time since I've even went to Mickey D's

I never went often enough to try. I do have that Mario 3 Raccoon Mario on a spring. I never really collected cereal toys either, but about 5 years ago I did buy a enough Capn Crunch to get this fairly large figure of the Capn chillin

If you're in the US, there's still a week left on this offer to get cereal-themed headphones? I keep forgetting so I'll likely miss it:

The Captain.. ❤️

I remember collecting these as a kid. They came out around the time the movie Batteries Not Included came out, so at that point I was already really into little robots.
Wish I still had them!

And if you weren't born yet during the time this movie came out, I strongly recommend giving it a watch. Its still as entertaining and wholesome today as it was in the 80s 😊

Yeah, back in the 90's I used to collect Happy Meal Toys with my Sister. I remember the toys being better in quality back then compared to now. Here's one I remember we had. ::winkfelix
