Didya got a saturn on its release date or on the 90´s, and if that´so, how it felt?

In 96, not long after NiGHTS came out here. Cool system, I enjoyed mine quite well until I learned the pains of the saved dying along with the little watch battery, heh. I still played after that but had a cart for saves then. I kinda wish I'd kept all that stuff, but I'm glad it went to someone who was going to enjoy for the first time, the same way I had.

I had one in the late '90s, towards the later days of the system's life. It came with the special Christmas sale triple pack-in - Daytona USA, Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter 2. I loved the system at the time but wish it did better in the West so games would've been easier to find. I would mostly rent games rather than buy as a kid and there weren't that many Saturn games at the local stores, I would often rent the same ones. Legend of Oasis, Virtual Hydlide. Couldn't find the other RPGs so I ended up playing them later.

I like the way you're thinking, hope that someone enjoy the console for the first time

I had one. It was a U.S type model with the unnecessarily chunky controller, but I loved it to bits. Sadly a lot of the good stuff for the Saturn stayed in Japan.

I never owned one, but my cousins did, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. The start-up, the menus and the games.

I've bought my Saturn in july/1997 and it came with three games: Daytona, Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Cop and Sega Rally and I've enjoyed it company up to 2005, when it broke.

Then I had to buy another. Actually two other, one being japanese and other american. Both are working fine these days.

I have a total of 87 games, including some rare ones, like Panzer Dragoon Saga, Guardian Heroes, Burning Rangers and Shining force III. All US versions.
I also have a few japanese games: Alien Trilogy, Princess Crown, Tryrush Deppy, Steamgear Mash, Willy Wombat, Whizz, Super Tempo, Keio Flying squadron 2, Ninpen Man Maru, Riglord Saga 2, Gungriffon II, Super Tempo and Silhouette Mirage. Detail: I do not understand japanese.
And one european: Bug!
