Did NextGenRoms Go Down Again?

I was logged in earlier today and came back to upload something when I got a message stating that "This Account has been suspended."
I tried to contact the e-mail address is provides, but that e-mail bounced back. I don't think the message was directed at me, but who over ran the site as I can't get into it through a browser that's never been logged into it either.

I have never used the site before, however I just tried to access the site, and I am getting that error as well. The problem appears to be on their end.

I've seen this time and time again over past 20+ years. Yeah looks like they got in trouble. I've got several sites I visit, who knows how many might be in the US, but probably not many that continue to function. There's one I've been using since 2002 and it's still up, so that's how that goes (usually).

Best not to get too attached to any one rom site. Any of them could go down at any moment just by popping up on the wrong company’s radar. Maybe they’ll come back, maybe they’ll relocate, maybe they’re gone. Get what you need while it’s easy.

I get the same thing. Saw a youtube video that says FBI/Nintendo is cracking down. I couldn't tell if it was an Ai voice or not and the video is an odd jumbled mess of images and game footage.

It's a channel called Fed Gaming... sus

Waste of FBI resources. Not at all what I voted for.

This time though it's as El Pollo Loco pointed out, it's been a case of false positives all week claiming that the site is known for phishing. Word has it that there are a few individuals out there that occasionally make attempts at taking down the site via hacking or reporting. People need to grow up and stop acting like characters from the novel 1984.

i check it does go by Roms.by and is a forums page that haves subscriptions i hope that not a dowenload paywall. that ones that use credit card in need to pay to download
