Uh maybe idk. Ik there was one in the works for awhile by the same team who translated Eternal Punishment PSP but shortly after EP PSP was translated they stopped giving updates. Is anyone working on an english patch for this game??? It's something that really interests me and I wanna play it so bad but I can't read japanese![]()
I believe they're working on the PSP version exclusively? May be wrong on this.CJWakura (I think that's the name, same person that did Fate CCC) is involved in the Saturn one. It's shown some progress but I have no idea what the real state is. After that's done the translation will probably be transposed to the PSP, I imagine.
Yes. I know they do it on their free time and nothing is owed to us players, but it doesn't make it any less painful. The particular team doing the EN work is well known for dragging their feet when it comes to pushing out releases.

At least they're not Hollow Moon, the so-called EN translators of Mahoyo. So notorious were they for not getting shit done that when TsukiRe Part 1 first released several groups banded together using whatever tools they had to announce MTL (luckily not used in the final patch) projects for it, just to make sure the lazy bums didn't get "dibs" on it. The ultimate irony is that despite the actual group's incompetence two guys in their server have now managed to completely retranslate 5/6ths of Fate/Stay Night, with said 5/6ths already out as a patch for the Ultimate Edition (as opposed to Hollow Moon proper never having anything to show for even now, after the official release forced them to scale down from a secondhand TL to an edit of whatever Aniplex put out) and the last 6th on the way soon. I understand this has nothing to do w/ SMT, but I am very mad that these pricks blew the one chance the EN community had for a proper translation of Mahoyo, considering all Aniplex can ever put out are hack jobs only a step or two above the average NISA project. Typos out the ass and they change the measurements to fucking American standards, what is the god damn deal?

There was someone awhile ago who did work on it but i think they abandoned the project to work on Giten Megami Tensei english patchIs anyone working on an english patch for this game??? It's something that really interests me and I wanna play it so bad but I can't read japanese![]()
I agree that the series has enough interest where folks should start picking up/continuing translation projects. also, the pfp is Mamimi Samejima from FLCLI think translating the full SMT series should be a focus of the community. It's a very popular series with lots of interest, and I believe that it would bring more people over to using fan translations. There are several already done, thankfully. I'm playing SMT 1 on the PS1 right now, and enjoying the experience.

Honestly, if this prods translation groups into actually getting a move on, all the better. It'd be funny if Devil Summoner ended up like Princess Crown, where the translation was announced by someone completely different, and then all of a sudden there's activity
man they need to do SMT IF on the PS1 next then, fingers crossed. For sure, I'd be most interested in PSX version of SMT2 right now. I've heard it's a lot better than SNES release, but also a nightmare in coding. if 1 was cracked, maybe it happens one day. I hope so, but don't have the talent or skillset to help with it.
