VR modding has maintained my interest for the technology for several years now, and it's glorious.
I'm following the works of Luke Ross and his REAL VR Mods. After modding Dark Souls and Elden Ring so they could play in VR, the guy also managed to get his mod working with Death Stranding.
Now I know it's a somewhat divisive game and I can understand that, I'm no fanboy. But I had fun playing through Death Stranding. The long cutscenes are tedious, but the whole gameplay loop of watching your steps, the floor is lava, stealth and inventory management was awesome. Also, kept offline so there was no holo emote littering the game.
Youtuber VRified Games combined cheat engine so the game is in first person and with the VR mod, and this is something I'm tempted to revisit. The game optimization is tight and it still looks gorgeous, maybe one of the more photorealistic VR games to play nowadays.
