IIRC Super Butoden 2 never got realeased in the US (meaning no 60 HZ if you don't read japanese) but I think I've seen a hack on CDR which allows 60 HZ.

If that's the case, yeah, highly recommend this game just for the story mode because it changes depending on the victory / defeats and some choices.
It was super fun trying out all the routes.

However I highly recommend looking for a guide to play this game because there is no in game tutorial and it's not a game that you can figure out how to play by experimenting.
I’ll keep that in mind.
The SNES-era ones seem more visually appealing to me bc I’ve seen so many 3D DBZ titles. I love pixels ::blush

Not the top tier games but I figured to suggest.
Enjoy!

They are mostly ok, the big Super Attacks made them Stand out, i missed that dearly on Hyper Dimension.

I had three Mugen Games back then, those were awsome, i am not sure wich ones exactly and the Webpage is somehow excluded from the Internet Archive.

I guess this was one of them.

One allowed coop Gameplay, two Brolys were pure Destruction.

Hello!

This is my personal tier list

The top games are:
1) Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3
2) Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
3) Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3
4) Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero
5) Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2
6) Dragon Ball Z Kakarot

Unlike most people, I don't like FighterZ, but this is a very hot take.

Sparking Zero is very recent, and unless you're a super fan, I'd wait for them to add even more content (game already has a season planned)

The PSP games are all good, even though it's mostly "portings" of the PS2 games (Shin Budokai has better gameplay though)

I sincerely discourage playing anything on PS1 or before that. They used to make these kind of games with way, WAY cheaper budgets.
Playstation 2 is the point in time where this series of tie-in games actually started becoming an "important" videogame franchise.

Love the chart lol. Thank you!!
I'd been watching my husband play sparking zero and it looked super fun. I love the Gals' Talk or whatever it is commentary that ChiChi Bulma and Videl get into <3

Someone recommended this already but I’ll explain in more detail. Budokai 1 only goes up to cell saga. Burst limit on ps3/360 too!

Budokai 1 had beautiful recreations of iconic anime scenes
It’s really beautifully done
