what choice is there? if there is no intimacy to be found in people, then where?

something bad could happen or I make a mistake or talk too much.
And I end up regretting everything and closing myself.

Well, I just started not doing it myself. And it's impossible on the surface. The answer is that closing yourself down puts you back where you don't want to be.
