Darseed was only recently added to ScummVM, it requires Version 3.0.0! To download it, go here and look at the first column "ScummVM latest Branch master" from there scroll to the system you wanna play in. For example for PC you'd click here:

t's actually a *lower* resolution than the DOS version.

Allegedly, Gieger refused to work for the project if they did the DOS version in lower res, and that was a great decision. PS1 theoretically could also have done at least that weird 512 resolution, but Saturn was probably always doomed to 320x240. Or maybe with those memory add-ons?

I've had the Saturn port downloaded for years, but apparently, it's actually a *lower* resolution than the DOS version.

For people who value A E S T H E T I C S, the DOS with Floppy Music is apparently the version you want.

Oh man classic! Gonna have to fire this up on DOS and finally complete it!

Spike, I've quoted your post so you can see this. I just want to give back to this wonderful community.

I've removed some unnecessary files from the CD version, then added the floppy version music. You can upload my version to this site, if you want. Maybe some people will prefer the CD version songs, so it can be a good idea to have both versions available.

The files will stay up for 30 days. I've uploaded the pack here:

Anyways, if you really want to add this to the site, just add this after the existing description:

The CD version contains poorly remapped versions of the original songs from the floppy disk version of the game. In ScummVM it is possible to use the original floppy music with the CD version. Simply select the "use floppy version music" option from the game configuration settings.
Will use your version for my first ever play through. Thank you!

i heard this game was near impossible to finish without a guide, you can get stuck permanently too many times and have to start completely over.
you're right, without a guide the game is nearly impossible to beat

Added thanks!

Is this the best way to play this game? I along time ago I thought I'd be smart and play this on an Amiga 500, but I couldn't get past the shitty DRM built into it. And then I didn't feel that smart. And I looked and hunted for the manual too. It just didn't match up I guess.

remember fighting to even run this game on dosbox and scummvm that hadnt support at the time, ended up using a Shady portable that I found in YT back then to even remotely play it, the second game was even harder to run, as it required to install windows 3.0 on dosbox and then running the game from there, at least this was back in 2010-2012

For dos games i prefer magic DosBox on android, Scummvm is for other more modern and diverse computer games like ags games

This is amazing news! I was just playing the Amiga CD32 version so far. Hope there's a way one day to also rip the narrator that's exclusive to the CD32 version... Seems like for now only the DOS floppy and CD-ROM versions are supported.

Spike, the CD version has poorly remapped versions of the original songs, and the floppy version has the best sounding music. Weird, but true in this game:

See the "Audio" section on the official wiki:

Could you also provide the floppy version, or even better, assemble the "definitive version" for the Repo? Maybe with the wiki instructions on the description.

Thanks in advance

If this game reminded you of the Alien movies no wonder because they are blessed by the same artist H.R. Giger!!!

I only know about this game because of "PeanutButterGamer".
